Job description

Service Manager | Kent, WA

Full-Time | Salaried | $90,000-$110,000 Annually

Every day, our Service Managers keep restaurants, cafés, and healthcare facilities across the Pacific Northwest running clean, stocked, and ready to serve their own customers. We're looking for a hands-on leader to run that operation in Kent: someone who builds a strong team, holds people accountable, and grows the business through relationships customers can trust.

As Service Manager, you'll lead District Managers, CSRs, and Route Relief staff; own route execution and safety; and drive retention, renewals, and organic growth across your market.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop District Managers, CSRs, Route Relief employees, and service-support staff.
  • Recruit, onboard, train, certify, and retain a dependable service team.
  • Conduct route rides, customer visits, one-on-ones, and performance reviews

Route & Operations

  • Oversee daily route execution, staffing, scheduling, and route coverage.
  • Partner with production, warehouse, sales, and billing to resolve operational challenges.
  • Champion New System's Zero Accident Culture and ensure compliance with all safety and driving requirements.

Customer Retention & Growth

  • Build strong customer relationships and quickly resolve service concerns.
  • Identify at-risk accounts, lead retention and contract-renewal efforts.
  • Drive organic growth, route sales, and account expansion.

Performance Ownership

  • Monitor and act on customer retention, redates, credits, accounts receivable, inventory, route profitability, and safety results.
WHAT YOU BRING
  • 5+ years of leadership, route service, operations, or B2B customer-service experience.
  • 3+ years of direct people-management experience.
  • A track record of developing employees, improving performance, and retaining customers.
  • Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Comfort reviewing operational and financial performance reports.
  • A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
  • Flexibility for early mornings and hours based on operational needs.

Experience in linen, uniform, facility services, distribution, transportation, hospitality, or route-based operations is a plus.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The annual salary range is $90,000–$110,000, based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance; retirement benefits; paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays; insurance programs; professional development; and a company vehicle or vehicle allowance where applicable. Final benefit details and eligibility are provided during the hiring process.
