Linen Attendant - Westchester Medical Center
Unitex is experiencing unprecedented growth! Due to this growth, we are in search of a Linen Attendant for our facility at Westchester Medical Center.
Compensation: $17.00/hr. The salary range for this position is $17.00/hour to $17.00/hour. Actual compensation decisions are based on factors such as experience, seniority, location, and other permissible job-related factors.
We require availability for 3 shifts: 5am-1:30pm, 7am-3:30pm and 2:30pm-11pm.

MUST be flexible and available to work either shift plus weekends and holidays.

Duties and responsibilities (including but not limited to):
  • Distribute linens to various departments within the hospital
  • Load and unload scrub machines
  • Stock and restock shelves
Required Skills:
  • MUST have flexibility to work various hours (mornings, evenings, weekends) totaling 40 hours per week
  • Must be able to lift loads of linens and push carts filled with linens (50+ lbs)
  • Due to schedule, own transportation / car is needed as there is no direct mass transit to this location if living outside of Westchester County (on-site parking expenses ARE COVERED by the company)

This is an entry level position. No experience is required.
