Located steps from the nations largest medical and research community at Texas Medical Center, near NRG Stadium and Rice University. We are looking for our next great team member to join us in filling the position of House Person.

As a House Person, you will play a vital role in supporting our housekeeping team to ensure the hotel maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. You will assist with maintaining public areas, distributing supplies, collecting linens, and responding to guest needs with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Here is what you are doing each day:
  • Stock linen closets with amenities and supplies for room attendants; may include taking supplies directly to room attendants.
  • Unload soiled linen from rooms and carts then transport to laundry area
  • Unload trash from housekeeping carts and dispose of refuse
  • Process guest request calls in a friendly and timely manner.
  • Perform deep clean projects for corridors, guest rooms and back of house.
  • Report needed repairs
  • Process trash from service landings and trash room to loading dock dumpster.
  • Vacuum, sweep, mop hallways, stairwells and service elevator landings
  • Clean windows and mirrors in the hotel
Does this sound like you?
  • Able to perform repetitive motions; bending, stooping, kneeling, stretching, reaching
  • Ability to lift, carry, push and pull at least 50 pounds
  • Able to stand on feet for at least eight (8) hours
  • Flexible availability to work any shift/day, including holidays and weekends
  • Ability to communicate in English, bilingual is a plus
  • Previous customer service experience to engage with guests
  • 1 Year experience
