JOB SUMMARY
Assistants are responsible for a variety of tasks within the retail area as assigned. Assistants will need basic knowledge of how to complete orders, deliver special function carts when needed in a quick paced environment. Organizational skills, time management, the ability to work in a team environment and reading comprehension are a necessity for this position. This position requires a large amount of lifting, bending, twisting, and long hours of standing. Assistants will also work a weekend and holiday rotation at the supervisor's discretion. Knowledge of the Illinois health code is a plus. This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Process (PIP) at Blessing Hospital.

Education/Training/Experience:
REQUIRED:
  • HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE OR EQUIVALENT PREFERRED, OR CURRENT HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT

License/Certifications/Special Requirements:
GENERAL UTILITY: VALID DRIVERS LICENSE IF DRIVING F&N VEHICHLE TO AND FROM DENMAN LINEN, SIU AND ASSIST WITH CATERING
