Job Type: On-Site Full Time -Overnight

Location: Woodstock, GA

Salary: 'Starting $16 per hour

Job Overview

As a Cylinder Line Operator at CyCan Industries, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing process by operating equipment to fill cylinders with glue and pressurize them. This position requires individuals who can follow directions meticulously, have basic measurement skills to weigh gas products, read scales and perform simple math calculations, and can lift heavy materials. Your ability to maintain inventory logs, handle hazardous materials safely, and ensure product quality will contribute to the production of high-quality aerosol products.

Responsibilities

  • Fill cylinders of various sizes with glue according to established procedures.
  • Monitor and adjust equipment settings to ensure accurate filling and pressurization.
  • Weigh gas products using scales and measure ingredients according to specified formulas.
  • Follow detailed instructions and batch sheets to ensure product consistency.
  • Handle hazardous materials safely, following established guidelines and safety data sheets (SDS).
  • Maintain accurate inventory logs and batch sheets.
  • Collaborate with quality control and production teams to ensure product quality and consistency.
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment and work areas.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the Cylinder Line Supervisor.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures related to safety, quality, and production.

Requirements

  • Overnight 4 pm - 3 am
  • Minimum 1 year experience.
  • Prefer bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures with precision.
  • Strong measurement skills and the ability to weigh and measure gas products accurately.
  • Proficiency in reading scales and performing simple math calculations.
  • Physical ability to lift and move cylinders weighing up to 150 lbs.
  • Strong attention to safety and the ability to handle hazardous materials safely.
  • Excellent organizational skills to maintain inventory logs and batch sheets.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus but not required.
