Job Description
 
This position is an active on-the-floor support position which could entail standing for long periods of time. While performing the job duties, the employee is regularly required to work with hands repetitively (grabbing, handling, picking, packing, processing, etc.).  
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Checks inventory control of products and supplies to the line (labels, lids, boxes, etc.) and notifies Supervisor. Ensure correct labeling is properly affixed 
  • Accurately measure out product, load into appropriate container, properly seal, and ensure conformance to requirements
  • Utilize accessory equipment such as pumps, totes, and conveyors to move materials through production processes
  • Inspects and reports the condition of machinery for items needing repair or service
  • Works on production and packaging lines in various capacities according to specifications
 
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Must be able to read and understand written and verbal instructions
  • Must be able to perform basic math calculations related to the position
  • Legibly and accurately record production performance data in a timely fashion 
  • Minimum three years of manufacturing experience
  • Basic computer skills (including use of Microsoft Office)
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen & background check
