Our ideal candidate has a mechanical mindset and/or at least 2 years of experience operating production lines. Average wages with production bonus opportunities ranging from $24-$28 per hour or more.
Production opportunities available on 2nd and 3rd shift.
2nd shift - 8 hour shifts ranging from 2pm-11pm depending on the start time
3rd shift - 8 hour shifts ranging from 10pm-7am depending on the start time
Responsibilities
Operates, calibrates, and maintains production line machines to make lead-acid batteries.
  • Operates and monitors automated and manual machinery on a production line with technical precision.
  • Reads product specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
  • Follows sequences for operational procedures on a computer.
  • Automatically or manually loads material into machine.
  • Observes machine operation to detect defects or malfunctions.
  • Performs routine machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs including cleaning and oiling.
  • Conducts quality checks and document production outputs.
  • May measure work piece dimensions, thickness, and weight in order to determine the accuracy of machine operation.
  • May assist in stacking, marking, packing, and transporting finished work parts or product using an electric pallet jack, hoist or forklift.
  • Collaborates with team members and supervisors to optimize performance.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

  • Basic mechanical aptitude and basic math skills (adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplying).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and manuals.
