Job Title: Line Cook

About Us:
We’re a cozy cafe that’s all about great coffee, good food, and creating a welcoming space for our community, while also highlighting our brand, Hollander Chocolate. We’re looking for a Line Cook who enjoys being in the kitchen, takes pride in their work, and can keep things running smoothly even when it gets busy.

What You’ll Do:

  • Open and/or close restaurant following guidelines
  • Cook and prep our menu items with care (and a little flair!)
  • Keep your station stocked, clean, and organized
  • Work with the team to get food out quickly and looking great
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines (because safety = tasty)
  • Be a team player and help in the ice cream parlor as needed
  • Jump in with prep, washing dishes, cleaning, or whatever else is needed to keep the kitchen humming

What We’re Looking For:

  • Some kitchen experience is awesome, but we’re willing to train the right person
  • A positive attitude and good teamwork skills
  • Ability to stay cool under pressure during busy shifts
  • Comfortable using stoves, ovens and other kitchen gadgets that do get very hot as well as knives and other sharp kitchen tools
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Reliable and ready to show up with your best energy
