Job Description
This Business Technology Analyst will be responsible for design, document requirements, and test business-rule solutions in support of the Mortgage and Home Equity business line's needs. The employee will partner with business stakeholders and the implementation teams to understand the requirements, how rules can be utilized, desired outcome of the business solutions and will work to ensure quality implementation of solutions that meet the needs of the business line. Responsibilities include documenting requirements for the modification of existing applications or development of new features in existing applications, documenting requirements for formula-based development of rules within a rules engine, acting as a liaison and technical resource between the business line, credit risk, and the development team for the application, and writing and executing test plans.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Eight or more years of direct experience with project management responsibilities
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Ability to conduct an analysis of business needs, including scheduling meetings, planning agendas, conferring with business line leaders, documenting and making verbal and written presentations
  • Strong understanding and use of project management techniques and testing processes and supervises their use
  • Ability to develop test schedules, review testing plans, track test issues and report on test results
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong project management, organization and analytical skills
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation communication skills
  • Effective leadership and negotiation skills
  • In-depth knowledge of a business line or function area
  • Experience supporting Mortgage, Home Equity, or Capital Markets business functions
  • Experience working in a product-oriented or agile delivery environment
  • Experience with rule engine platforms or rule-based decisioning systems
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data and performance metrics to support decision-making
  • Experience developing and executing test plans for technology solutions

Location Expectations This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days a week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. Pay Range: $92,820.00 - $109,200.00
