As part of a collaborative editorial team, you'll often work closely with copy editors, writers, and sometimes project managers to ensure that content meets the highest quality standards.

What does a Line Editor do?

A Line Editor reviews written content to improve clarity, flow, and style while ensuring grammatical accuracy. They focus on sentence structure, word choice, and readability rather than broad content or structural changes. Line Editors work closely with writers to refine tone and consistency. Their goal is to enhance the text without altering the author's voice. This role is common in publishing, journalism, and content creation.

To thrive as a Line Editor, you need exceptional grammar, punctuation, and syntax expertise, often supported by a degree in English, journalism, or a related field.
