Job Opening: Team Lead

Job Location: 1st SHIFT or 3rd SHIFT
Hours: 6a - 4:30p Mon-Thurs or 4pm-2:30am Mon-Thurs



Job Skills Required:
· Ability to stand for entire shift with repetitive lifting
· Manual dexterity of both hands
· Ability to safely lift and move 20 lbs.
· Ensure established housekeeping standards are met in work area
· Ensure a safe working environment, following safety procedures
· Report any incident, accident, or unsafe condition immediately
· Must be able to communicate well in a positive manner
· Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
· Must be able to follow specific instructions correctly
· Supervision experience preferred
· Must be flexible in terms of duties, overtime, etc…
· Must be willing and able to do duties of LHA and Machine Operator when needed

Job Duties:

· Organize workflow and ensure employees in your areas understand their assignments
· Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching
· Provide input to Line Coordinator on process improvements
· Receive complaints and resolve issues – involve Line Coordinator as necessary
· Monitor team performance and report metrics to Line Coordinator
· Identify training needs and work with Line Coordinator to address
· Build positive relations within the team
· Provide Backup for the Line Coordinator when they are not available: meetings, vacation etc
· Develop a complete understanding of all specifications for each product based on the published specification document -- Work with Quality Manager and Line Coordinator as questions arise
· Perform random inspections of finished goods
· Communicate quality issues and any non-conforming production issues to the line associates and the line coordinator
· Assist with training of new associates to make sure product conforms to specifications
· Any other duties and tasks assigned by supervisor
Starting Rate: $18.00/hour ($17.00/hr plus $1.00 shift differential- $5/hr above LHA category)
