Pie Pan Inc. owns Bull City Burger and Brewery and Pompieri Pizza in downtown Durham, with a third restaurant forthcoming in 2018/2019. Pie Pan restaurants are unique for a lot of reasons - We make everything in house (including cheeses, buns, pizza dough, sauces, etc.), we source locally and support 30 NC farms, and we prioritize giving back. For example, we donate approximately a literal TON of compost back to farmers every month! We're also the first and only certified B Corp restaurants in NC. We're looking for experienced line cooks who have fine dining experience and knowledge. 

This role requires AM/PM and weekend availability and a passion for creativity and high quality, locally sourced, made from scratch Italian food! 

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:


- previous line cook experience
- professional knife skills
- ability to julienne an onion (will be tested)
- ability to make a vinaigrette (will be tested)
- AM/PM and weekend availability
- experience following recipes
- experience cooking from scratch

Bonus skills: 


- experience preparing cuts of meat
- experience using slicers, fryers, and meat grinders
- experience with wood fired pizza ovens

Salary starts at $12/hour.
