As a Line Cook, you'll be part of a dynamic culinary team supporting our restaurants and outlets, preparing dishes for our members and guests.
At Congressional, we look for Team Members who believe the impossible is possible-those who are driven to make a positive impact and know that as a team, we achieve more.
What You'll Do
  • Prepare, cook, and plate dishes following standard recipes.
  • Take inventory, requisition ingredients, and ensure your station is set up and maintained.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen operations to coordinate the timing of orders.
  • Notify the Sous Chef of shortages and suggest improvements.
  • Maintain clean, sanitary work areas and properly store food items.
  • Close the kitchen properly using the established checklist.
  • Attend team meetings and contribute ideas for growth and improvement.
  • Follow all safety and food safety regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Sous Chef.

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Completion of a two-year culinary school program preferred.
  • At least 2 years of professional kitchen experience.
  • Strong teamwork, creativity, and passion for the culinary arts.
