LINE COOK:
Primary Responsibilities: Reads guest checks to grill personnel. Prepares and plates food items. Places "trayed" items on shelf for pick-up. Cooks eggs and other breakfast items. Grills hamburgers and other food items. Deep-fries food items. Prepares salad items. Prepares hot and cold sandwiches. Heats food in microwave.
Secondary Responsibilities: Cleans and stocks workstation. Sweeps and mops floors. Assists Bussers & Dishwashers by bussing tables, washing dishes, and clean-up duties on an as needed basis. Assists with Prep Cook duties on an as needed basis. Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements: Requires continuous standing. Must be able to frequently reach, bend, and squat. Must be able to occasionally lift boxes weighing up to 35 lbs. Must be able to tolerate heat in excess of 90° F. Must have good verbal communication skills. Must be able to organize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously. Usually requires at least six months of previous cooking experience. Must display a neat and clean personal appearance. Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
