Join Us! We are currently hiring for Line Cooks at Stanley Park Restaurant & Brewpub!


There’s something about a walk under the canopy of an old growth forest, or a brisk stroll on the seawall that awakens the senses and reinvigorates the soul. Experiences like that stay with you, and that’s what we strive to create for every guest that visits us.

Our Brewing Team craft a line-up of beers inspired by the nature around us, and our Culinary Team creates a menu to compliment the beer to really showcase some of the finest food and beverage in the area. As part of our Culinary Team, you provide the magic and expertise to bring our offerings to life.

Stanley Park Brewing Restaurant & Brewpub is nestled in the heart of Stanley Park surrounded by beautiful scenery, sporting activities and just steps away from some of the best beaches and trails in Canada.

We are currently looking to add to our stellar team of people here at the Brewpub for the Summer. Our team is carefully selected and crafted to be able to not only provide excellent service and experiences to our guests, but to become part of a diverse, dynamic, caring and fun group all whilst working in the alluring surroundings of Stanley Park.

We are looking for people that are:

As a Line Cook, you’ll need to:

  • Complete regular training sessions to stay updated on food preparation and safety standards
  • Provide excellent food quality and ensure accurate preparation of menu items for guests
  • be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment while also supporting your team
  • Execute food orders accurately and in a timely manner
  • assist with daily and weekly scheduled environment cleaning duties
  • complete restocking at the end of each shift
  • be able to lift up to 20lbs during some duties
  • Maintain proper food handling, storage, and sanitation standards

  • can commit to a flexible schedule

To help with your application, it would be an asset if:

  • you have a valid First Aid certification, or food safe certification
  • you have prior experience in a fast-paced kitchen or other relevant customer service role

This is a seasonal opportunity ending October 13th 2026. There may be an opportunity to extend past this date dependant on the needs of the business. Hours and shifts may vary and include days, evenings, weekends and holidays. We strictly adhere to any work permit hour restrictions.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada (Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid Work Permit)
  • Valid Food Safe Level 1 Certification
  • Ability to commit to a flexible schedule
  • Ability to lift up to 20lbs as needed
  • Previous experience in a profession kitchen as a Line Cook or other applicable role considered an asset!
  • First Aid Level 1, preferred but not mandatory
