3 Jays Enterprise LLC is seeking a reliable, fast-paced, and detail-oriented Line Cook / Chef to join our team at the War Hawk Cafe in Omaha, Nebraska. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality menu items, maintaining a spotless kitchen environment, and ensuring top-tier service for our military community and guests.

The ideal candidate thrives during busy breakfast and lunch rushes, takes pride in consistent food quality, and strictly follows food safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Food Preparation & Cooking: Prep and cook menu items according to established recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards.

  • Station Management: Set up, stock, and maintain the hot and cold line stations for efficient short-order assembly.

  • Speed & Consistency: Ensure all orders are completed accurately and served hot to guests in a fast-casual environment.

  • Sanitation & Safety: Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized workstation. Strictly adhere to all local health department and military installation food safety regulations.

  • Stock Rotation: Assist with checking in deliveries, stocking inventory, and practicing proper food rotation (FIFO).

  • Equipment Care: Safely operate, clean, and maintain standard commercial kitchen equipment.
