How does a Limited Submissions coordinator typically collaborate with faculty and research teams during the application process?

A Limited Submissions coordinator works closely with faculty and research teams to manage internal competitions for grant proposals where sponsors restrict the number of applications an institution can submit. They facilitate communication about upcoming opportunities, coordinate internal review panels, and provide guidance on application requirements and deadlines. This role requires strong organizational skills and frequent collaboration with researchers, department chairs, and research administrators to ensure the institution submits the most competitive proposals.

What are Limited Submissions?

Limited Submissions are funding opportunities in which a sponsor restricts the number of applications or proposals an institution can submit. Because of these limits, universities and research institutions must internally select the best candidates or projects to move forward in the application process. This internal competition helps ensure that the institution's strongest proposals are submitted, maximizing the chances of success with the sponsor.

What is the difference between Limited Submissions vs Grant Writers?
