nVent is seeking a dynamic and strategic ERICO / ILSCO Commercial Regional Sales Manager for the North Central USA Market to lead demand creation and product expertise for our sales organization within the Electrical Connections business. This sales role will provide industry and brand expertise for driving revenue growth, rapidly growing market share, and delivering outstanding customer value across the North Central United States the Commercial Market for the ILSCO / ERICO Brands. The ideal candidate will bring a consistent record of being able to closely partner and collaborate across dedicated USA sales team and agent network to achieve sales targets in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

  • Sales Growth:Achievingsales goals for ERICO and ILSCO Commercial Electrical business bymaintainingexisting business and successfully converting new business, primarily through breadth and depth of product offering and as a project solution provider.

  • Sales Strategy and Execution:Developingmulti-year sales strategy & tactical plan to achieve sales targets byidentifyingand developing new customers / end users / key projects / channel partners within the specified territory.

  • Leadershipand management:Leading, coaching, and developinga high-performingthird-partyagentsales team across geography and channels, ensuring understanding and acceptance ofterritorystrategy, pricing, joint calls, and personal/business development.Promote a culture of accountability, respect, and teamwork by setting clear expectations and driving ownership of sales goals.

  • Customer & Field Engagement:Buildingandmaintainingstrong relationshipsacross all levelswith key customers, distribution partners, and industry stakeholders.Serve as a customer advocate by sharing market insights and competitive feedback to enhance solutions and messaging between field and support functions.RepresentnVentat industry events and forums.

  • ProductExpertiseand Specification Influence:Providingproductexpertisethrough training and technical presentations, highlighting our value proposition with key contractors and distributors,and engineers,and providing on-site support.Influence end-user specifications and proactively promote ERICO and ILSCO products by emphasizing their technical advantages and engaging key stakeholders to drive demand.

  • Quote and Solution Assistance:Supportingagent opportunities and proposals (quotes) for ERICO and ILSCO; including, but not limited to lightning protection, CADWELD, grounding, surge protection, and part conversion crossovers.

  • Revenue and Profitability:Lead quotes, pricing, and KPIs to ensure profitability.Analyze sales data to uncover trends and improvement areas.

  • Cross-Functional Teamwork:Partner with Marketing, Product Management, Finance, Pricing, and Operations to align sales initiatives with broadernVentbusinessobjectives.This includes the launchandsupport ofnew products to market/territory.

  • Sales Operations:UtilizeCRM Platform (e.g.,Salesforce) as a tool to lead opportunitypipelineand communicate feedback internally.Collaborates withend-users,distributors, and internal stakeholders to plan inventory, position support materials, andoptimizestocking for field demand.

  • While we have this role posted in multiple locations, we are only making 1 hire***

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor's Degreein Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related fieldfrom an accredited institution or applicable outside sales experience.

  • Ideally, 5+ years outside sales and/or territory sales management working in the commercial or industrial space with electrical products.

  • Ability to remotely work from a home office and travel on average 60% of the time throughout the sales region of IL, IA, KS, MO, MN, NE, ND, SD, WI, and Northwestern IN,with overnight trips expected.A valid driver's license is required.

  • Strong preference for technical sales and value-based selling skills

  • Commercial and contractor sales knowledgeis a plus

  • High-levelorganizational and time management skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.

  • Physically capable of navigating construction project sites

Pay Transparency

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of total target cash pay for this job and the employee's work location. Total target cash is comprised of an employee's base salary and sales incentive target opportunity, when annual sales goals are achieved.

Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

If annual sales performance exceeds annual sales goals, the total target cash received may exceed the pay scale maximum reflected below.

Total Target Cash Range:

Geographic Region A: $101,400.00 - $188,300.00 +Geographic Region B: $110,600.00 - $205,400.00 +Geographic Region C: $96,300.00 - $178,800.00 +

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
