Job description

Electrical Engineer – 3+ Years Experience


We are seeking a motivated and experienced Electrical Engineer with 3 or more years of experience in building systems design to join our client’s team. This role is ideal for someone who is technically skilled, self-driven, and capable of managing projects from concept through construction.


This is a direct opportunity with our client, a well-established and growing firm working on high-impact projects across a range of sectors.


Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and coordinating electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, emergency power, and security systems
  • Working on projects in education, commercial, institutional, sports, and healthcare facilities
  • Leading project design efforts and coordinating with clients and internal teams
  • Managing project schedules, documentation, and quality control
  • Contributing to the growth of the local office and participating in business development activities



Qualifications:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in building electrical system design
  • PE license preferred, but not required
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with design and coordination of complex electrical systems
  • Knowledge of lighting design, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
  • Experience with project management and team leadership
  • LEED Accreditation is a plus
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
