Position Summary: The Senior Accountant assists in accounting operational functions, including the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements. The Senior Accountant will provide support in margin analysis, product costing, and pricing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Active participant in GL entries and month end close activities.

· Assist with the annual financial audit preparations and provide audit support services to independent financial auditors.

· Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts.

· Analyze income statement accounts.

· Research technical accounting issues for compliance and ensure compliance.

· Generate monthly Sales reports and Rep Bonus Letters.

· Generate ad hoc reports as directed by Controller and/or Ownership.

· Provide Sales Margin Analysis as directed by Controller.

· Assist with various analysis as directed by Controller and/or Ownership.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

· Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and deadlines.

· Outstanding communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations.

· Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills

· Organized and detail oriented and effective multi-tasker

· Advanced experience with ERP systems

· Demonstrated success in role can lead to opportunity for growth and additional responsibilities.

Required Education and Experience:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance

· 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance department

· Advanced application of Microsoft Excel

· 3+ years’ experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close process

· 3+ years’ experience with creating financial statements

Preferred Qualifications:

· Cost accounting experience

· Manufacturing experience preferred

· Previous experience in public accounting
