Job description

SUMMARY
An Outdoor Lighting Perspectives General Labor Lighting Installer will be responsible for installation of low voltage outdoor lighting systems generally in residential settings.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assembling lights and mounting them in prescribed locations
  • Speaking with the customer to upsell other products
  • Provide customer with system orientation as applicable
  • Proper care and operation of company vehicles
  • Ensuring there are proper inventory levels
  • Running and burying low voltage wiring in landscape areas and lawns
  • Mounting transformers and connecting wire runs
  • Clean up of all areas affected by the installation
  • Providing direction and/or assistance to other installers when applicable
  • Speaking with clients to inform and educate them about additional products and services available
  • General labor activities on the jobsite

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
  • Has a driver's license with a clean driving record (no moving violations or accidents in the last three years)
  • Makes a good first impression by being well-groomed, articulate, personable, and comfortable with meeting new people
  • Enjoys interacting with customers with respect and integrity

EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE
