Full-Time | $16โ€“$22 per hour

About the Role

Blingle Lighting Lexington installs professional outdoor lighting for homes and businesses across Central Kentucky. Our work includes landscape lighting, architectural lighting, and holiday lighting installations.

We are hiring a Lighting Technician โ€“ Level 1 to join our installation team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, building things with their hands, and being part of a small team that takes pride in clean, professional work.

No electrical license is required. We will train the right person.

What You'll Do

  • Install landscape lighting systems at residential properties

  • Run low-voltage wiring and mount lighting fixtures

  • Dig small trenches and install lighting components

  • Work on ladders and occasionally on roofs during installations

  • Assist with seasonal holiday lighting installation and takedown

  • Load tools and materials and keep job sites organized

  • Work alongside lead technicians to complete installations

Requirements

  • Comfortable working on ladders and roofs when needed

  • Able to work outdoors in varying weather

  • Able to lift 50 lbs

  • Valid driverโ€™s license with a clean driving record

  • Available Mondayโ€“Friday with occasional evening or weekend work

  • Work history that shows reliability and steady employment

  • Good attitude and willingness to learn

Preferred Experience (Not Required)

  • Landscaping

  • Construction

  • Outdoor installation work

  • General labor or trade experience

Prior landscaping experience is especially helpful, but not required.

Schedule

  • Primarily weekday daytime work

  • Some evening or weekend installations during peak seasons

Pay & Growth

  • $16โ€“$22 per hour depending on experience

  • Paid training

  • Opportunity to grow into Lighting Technician Level 2 or Lead Technician roles
