Outpatient Therapist-Lighthouse

Pay Range:$54,000 - $75,000 annually

Schedule:Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 1:00pm-9:30pm, Tuesday and Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Location:5034 Atlantic Avenue, Mays Landing, NJ

The Role

We are seeking aFull-Time Outpatient Primary Therapistto join our Lighthouse Outpatient team in Mays Landing, NJ. In this role,you'llplan, direct, and coordinate clinically approved treatment programs while empowering clients and families through evidence-based, person-centered practices.

You'llwork in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where yourexpertisedirectlyimpactspatient recovery and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health, substance use, and readiness for treatment
  • Develop, implement, andmonitorindividualized treatment plans and goals
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions
  • Educate clients and families on addiction, recovery, and coping strategies
  • Identifybehaviors and barriers that interfere with recovery
  • Collaborate with families and recommendappropriate treatmentoptions
  • Refer clients to community resources, support groups, and vocational services
  • Participate in outreach programs to promote addiction awareness and prevention
  • Provide oversight of assigned census and support site census and budgetary goals

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Workor Mental Health Counseling (required)
  • Licensure required: LAC, LSW, LPC, or LCSW
  • 1-3 years of experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment
  • Strong knowledge of individual, group, and family counseling
  • Experiencefacilitatingpsychoeducational groups
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiencywith MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse populations
  • Commitment to confidentiality and professional ethics
