Lighthouse Wellness Therapeutic Clinic is seeking a talented and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team. This role operates within a fully remote outpatient facility based in Bellevue, Washington. Our innovative approach leverages technology to ensure that clients receive timely, effective therapeutic support without geographical barriers. You will work with a dedicated and collaborative team of mental health professionals, engaging in regular consultations and case discussions that resonate with our values of partnership and ongoing learning.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity and impact of mood disorders, including depression and anxiety, on clients’ lives.
• Collaborate with clients to design and implement individualized treatment plans that align with their unique goals, preferences, and situations.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate positive change.
• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, enhancing their understanding of treatment options and self-care strategies for sustained recovery.
• Monitor client progress diligently, adjusting treatment plans based on detailed feedback and ongoing evaluations to maximize effectiveness.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and medical professionals to ensure that our clients receive a holistic approach to care.
• Maintain current knowledge of trends and research in mood disorders to continuously refine treatment methodologies.
• Document client interactions accurately and confidentially, adhering to ethical and legal standards of practice.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and continuous professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and promote best practices.
• Advocate for your clients, working towards reducing stigma around mental health issues and representing their needs in a compassionate manner.

Our clients primarily consist of individuals experiencing mood disorders, including those with anxiety disorders, major depressive disorder, and bipolar disorder. We take pride in our ability to address a diverse spectrum of mental health challenges, focusing on personalized care that recognizes the unique circumstances and histories of each patient. Your expertise will help empower clients to overcome obstacles and achieve meaningful progress in their mental health journeys.

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LICSW, LMFT, or LMHC in Washington State.
• Extensive knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, with practical experience in CBT and DBT.
• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology, demonstrating the ability to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists and medical professionals.
• Proven record of successful client outcomes in the treatment of mood disorders.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to connect with clients from various backgrounds.

While not mandatory, experience in telehealth practices and familiarity with virtual counseling platforms can significantly enhance your effectiveness in this role. Knowledge or certification in additional therapeutic modalities will be considered an asset.

The offered salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Aside from competitive compensation, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
