Lightbox Counseling and Psychotherapy Association is actively seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team. • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to develop accurate diagnoses and highly individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to deliver psychotherapy sessions focused on fostering personal growth and improved mental well-being.
• Maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation that complies with California laws and ethical standards, ensuring a clear record of client progress and treatment efficacy.
• Engage in weekly case consultations with colleagues, sharing insights, strategies, and support for challenging cases.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals and community resources to provide comprehensive support and facilitate referrals as necessary.

The therapist will work with a diverse client population, delivering services to individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds. This includes individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and more. Ideally, the candidate will have experience in addressing the complex interplay of factors such as race, culture, gender, and socioeconomic status that impact mental health outcomes.

• Active LMFT license in the state of California, in good standing.
• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
• Comprehensive understanding of systems theory, trauma-informed care, and the dynamics of interpersonal relationships.
• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and organizational skills to effectively communicate with clients and maintain professional documentation.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in community mental health settings, school-based services, or with clients having high-acuity needs.
• Experience working with diverse populations, coupled with a strong understanding of the factors influencing mental health disparities.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and case management tools to streamline therapy services and documentation.

The compensation for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 per annum, complemented by an array of benefits designed to support your professional and personal well-being:
