About the job Safety Spotter
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Spotter to assist electricians on commercial electrical projects in big-box retail environments. The spotter will play a critical role in ensuring job site safety by monitoring electricians working on scissor lifts, maintaining a hazard-free work area, and supporting the team as needed. Each project lasts approximately two weeks before moving on to the next site.
Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safety compliance by monitoring electricians on scissor lifts and maintaining awareness of surroundings to prevent accidents
  • Maintain job site awareness by keeping the work area clear of hazards and monitoring pedestrian traffic in active retail locations
  • Arrive on-site with all required personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure proper use at all times
  • Assist electricians with basic tasks as needed, such as handling materials, relaying instructions, and maintaining an organized workspace
  • Show up on time every day, ready to work and support the team
  • Move from project to project every two weeks, maintaining consistency and professionalism across different work sites
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a construction or commercial electrical environment is preferred but not required
  • Must be safety-minded and aware of proper job site procedures
  • Must have reliable transportation to various project sites
  • Ability to work in active retail environments with heightened awareness
