Job description

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Perform simple production assembly.
  2. Perform part marking related activities.
  3. Utilize ERP system to document work movement and completion transactions.
  4. Perform shipping & receiving and inventory control functions within the cell
  • Receive material and product by verifying correct items, quantity, quality, and documentation.
  • Prepare orders for delivery to other departments or customers.
  • Allocate material to work centers.
  • Pick/pull parts from inventory.
  • Receive component parts into department and enter into inventory.

5. Process work within performance and delivery requirements
  • Meet established productivity standards.
  • Follow communicated job priority instructions.
  • Communicate production delays and problems to appropriate supervision.

6. Teamwork
  • Support all members of the Manufacturing and Orion team fully to achieve company, departmental, and personal goals, and objectives.
  • Participate in team and company meetings.
  • Role model proper work ethics, behaviors, proper hygiene, and dress.

Requirements
  • Manufacturing and assembly experience utilizing various machines and processes
  • Inventory control experience utilizing various packing, picking, and issuing
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications
  • Organizational ability
  • Problem solving skills
  • Understanding of 6S and Lean practices
  • Ability to work independently as well as collectively
  • Customer service skills; able to relate well to all internal and external customers
  • Experience providing on-the-job training

Wage Range:
The pay range for this role considers several factors, including but not limited to required experience, skill level, prior training, education, and other business needs.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
