Job description

Overview:
LifeWorks Wellness Center is seeking a reliable and friendly Laundry & Facility Attendant to help maintain a clean, orderly, and welcoming environment throughout our facility. This role is centered on laundry care, with additional light general upkeep duties such as emptying trash and tidying common areas. This is not a janitorial position - it is a porter-type role focused on keeping our facility running smoothly behind the scenes.
Who we are:
LifeWorks Wellness Center is one of the largest integrated practices in the U.S. Patients travel from all over the world to receive our holistic, life-changing treatments for chronic health conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle all aspects of laundry care, including washing, drying, folding, and restocking clean linens and towels throughout the facility - this is the primary focus of the role.
  • Empty trash receptacles throughout the facility and replace liners as needed.
  • Perform light general cleaning duties to support a tidy, welcoming environment.
  • Restock supplies in patient and staff areas as needed.
  • Transport laundry, linens, and other items between areas of the facility.
  • Report any maintenance or supply needs to the appropriate staff member.
  • Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor when encountering patients and staff.
  • Assist with other porter-type tasks as needed to support daily facility operations.

Qualifications:
  • Reliable and punctual, with strong personal accountability.
  • Friendly, approachable demeanor and willingness to assist others.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Comfortable performing repetitive physical tasks throughout a shift.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check & drug screen.

Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in laundry services, housekeeping, or a porter role is a plus, but not required.
  • Willingness to learn and follow facility procedures for laundry and linen care.

Physical Demands of Position:
While performing the duties of this job, must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods of time. Must be able to climb stairs throughout the shift. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds (e.g., laundry bags, linens, trash receptacles). Must be able to move throughout the facility to transport laundry and supplies.
Hours:
This is a full-time morning shift position, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
Benefits:
  • Employer-sponsored medical, vision, and dental insurance
  • Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • Holiday pay
  • Employee discount
