Job description

Hazel Findlay is looking for the right candidate to join our Activities Department at Hazel Findlay. Some tasks that our Activity Aides are responsible for include:

  • Assist and implement specific recreational activities.
  • Public relations work as assigned (i.e., writing thank-you's, telephoning, speaking to large groups, etc.
  • Organizing and storing activity supplies and donations made to the department.
  • Ability to motivate residents to participate.
  • Assist in providing a varied, stimulating, and meaningful activity program.
  • Activity staff will strive to achieve and improve the following for all residents, quality of life, lifetime skills, opportunities for socialization, self-confidence, and self-esteem.
