Bishop Blanchet is a Catholic high school located in Seattle, WA. Position Overview:  

Bishop Blanchet High School is seeking a Girls Swim Assistant Coach for the 2026-2027 season. Applicants with previous coaching experience at the HS level, 21 years or older, possessing a valid Washington State driver's license, and current First Aid/CPR/AED and Lifeguard certification are preferred. This position reports to the Athletic Director.

Girls Swim and Dive is a Fall Sport. The season runs from August 24 - November 14, 2026. 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Compliance with all Bishop Blanchet HS, Metro League, and WIAA policies and procedures.
  • Supervision of student-athletes during all team activities:
    • Practice and game times vary throughout the week. Coaches need to be available between the hours of 3-8pm (Monday-Saturday).
  • Effective communication with players, coaching colleagues, and parents.
  • Promotion of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and fair play among team members.
  • Developing players within a unified program.
  • Teaching proper technique to improve player development.

We offer competitive stipends that are paid in one installment, half way through the competition season. We also offer access to professional development and BBHS Athletics Apparel.

Compensation:  

Stipend range $2300 Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.

This position is not eligible for benefits.
