Their duties often include monitoring swimmers, enforcing safety rules, maintaining equipment, and assisting with rescues under the supervision of a trained lifeguard. They may also help with administrative tasks, first aid, and general facility upkeep. Lifeguard assistants play a crucial role in ensuring safety and efficiency, especially during busy times.

What are the main responsibilities of a lifeguard assistant during a typical shift?

As a Lifeguard Assistant, your primary responsibilities include supporting certified lifeguards by monitoring swimmers, maintaining cleanliness of the pool area, assisting with pool equipment, and enforcing facility rules.
