The Power Pricing Analytics & Value Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining the analytical models, value quantification methodologies, and market intelligence that support value-based pricing decisions across Power Generation applications with a focus on extended scope of integrated power plant solutions, including associated products, services, and balance-of-plant offerings, to drive business growth, margin expansion, and profitability.

In this role you will be working in alignment with the strategic direction established by the HD GT Pricing Manager, the role provides the economic and commercial analyses required to quantify customer value, assess competitiveness, and support pricing strategy development. A key responsibility of the role is to develop and maintain LCOE, TCO, lifecycle value, and customer economics models that translate technical and operational benefits into measurable financial value.

The role serves as the focal point for value analytics, commercial intelligence, and integrated power plant economic assessments, supporting data-driven decision-making throughout the commercial lifecycle. Working closely with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Commercial Operations, Product Leadership, Engineering, and other Pricing Managers, the role supports value-based pricing initiatives by providing economic insights, customer value assessments, and competitive market analyses.

As the Power Pricing Analytics & Value Manager, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Value Analytics & Customer Economics

  • Develop and maintain TCO, LCOE, lifecycle value, and customer economics models to support value-based pricing and commercial decisions.
  • Quantify customer value drivers related to efficiency, reliability, availability, operational flexibility, emissions reduction, and lifecycle performance.
  • Translate technical differentiators into measurable customer economic benefits and business cases.
  • Support the development of customer value propositions and economic assessments.

Integrated Plant Economics

  • Develop economic models and competitiveness assessments for integrated power plant solutions, including Gas Turbines, HRSG, SCR, eBOP, auxiliary systems, EPC scope, and integrated power island solutions.
  • Assess project and plant-level economics across customer applications, operating profiles, and market conditions.
  • Support plant-level value proposition development and competitiveness evaluations.

Competitive Intelligence & Market Analytics

  • Conduct competitive benchmarking, market assessments, and economic analyses to support commercial positioning and pricing strategies.
  • Analyze competitor offerings, technology performance, commercial structures, and project economics.
  • Develop and maintain market intelligence databases, analytical tools, and competitor knowledge repositories.
  • Monitor industry trends and customer value drivers impacting project economics and competitiveness.

Pricing Strategy Support

  • Support the GT Pricing Manager through economic analysis, value quantification, and market intelligence that inform pricing strategy development.
  • Provide analytical support for strategic opportunities, bids, negotiations, and commercial decision-making.
  • Develop pricing tools, value calculators, and commercial analytics to improve consistency and transparency.
  • Assess the impact of pricing scenarios, competitive actions, and market changes on customer value and project economics.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Energy Systems, or a related field.
  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in Commercial Analytics, Pricing, Product Management, Business Strategy, Finance, Marketing, Energy Economics, or related commercial functions.
  • Experience in Power Generation, Energy, Industrial Equipment, Capital Projects, Data Centers, or related industries preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience developing economic models, business cases, financial analyses, and value-based commercial tools.

Knowledge and Skillsets also include, but are not limited to:

  • Strong understanding of value-based pricing and customer value quantification.
  • Knowledge of TCO, LCOE, lifecycle economics, and customer value assessment methodologies.
  • Advanced analytical, financial modeling, and business intelligence capabilities.
  • Understanding of power generation technologies and integrated plant solutions.
  • Knowledge of HRSG, SCR, eBOP, EPC, and plant auxiliary systems preferred.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and analytics tools.
