Job description

A Snapshot of Your Day
Siemens Energy is seeking an Account Manager focused on packagers serving the mobile power generation market across North America. This role sits at the intersection of sales and execution, serving as the bridge between commercial growth objectives and reliable service delivery. In this role, you will serve as the primary commercial interface for assigned packagers, driving growth in spare parts, upgrades, technical support, core engine overhauls, emergency response services, and broader lifecycle service offerings for mobile gas turbine applications. This position is ideal for a commercially minded service professional with experience in industrial services, mobile power generation, rotating equipment, gas turbines, or aftermarket sales who can strengthen packager relationships while coordinating execution across internal teams to support fleet reliability, rapid response needs, and customer satisfaction.
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Manage service relationships with assigned packagers and serve as the primary commercial point of contact for aftermarket support, connecting customer priorities with internal execution.
  • Drive growth in spare parts, upgrades and technical support sales.
  • Develop annual service and maintenance forecasts, fleet coverage plans, and commercial strategies aligned to packager-operated mobile gas turbine fleets.
  • Lead service performance reviews, KPI tracking, service contract renewal discussions, and improvement plans with assigned packagers.
  • Coordinate support across parts, engineering, service operations, field service, repair centers, and other internal stakeholders to ensure customer commitments are translated into clear execution plans and timely delivery.
  • Balance sales growth, customer satisfaction, and execution discipline by ensuring commercial opportunities are supported by realistic delivery plans, clear ownership, and proactive follow-through.
  • Support outage planning, overhaul scheduling, emergency response activities, and technical issue resolution to improve reliability and availability outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to expand Siemens Energy lifecycle service offerings

Key Performance Indicators
  • Commercial: parts, upgrades and technical support revenue growth while achieving gross margin targets ensuring service contract renewal
  • Customer Satisfaction and Execution: coordinating internal resources to support operational questions, service needs, outage planning, troubleshooting, timely resolution of concerns, and customer-driven KPIs that reflect both commercial growth and service delivery performance.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 7 + years of experience in industrial services, power generation, rotating equipment, aftermarket sales, service sales, account management, or business development.
  • Experience supporting gas turbines, rotating equipment, mobile power generation, industrial service programs, parts, repairs, overhauls, outage planning, or maintenance programs preferred.
  • Strong commercial skills, including service sales, forecasting, pipeline management, commercial negotiation, contract management, and KPI management.
  • Ability to translate technical requirements and customer priorities into commercial solutions, executable action plans, and coordinated support across engineering, operations, field service, parts, and repair organizations.
  • Demonstrated relationship management skills, including packager, channel, or OEM partner management, customer relationship management, executive communication, presentation skills, and cross-organizational stakeholder management.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with strong ownership, accountability, problem-solving ability, project coordination skills, and the ability to drive both sales outcomes and execution follow-through independently.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% within the United States to visit packager locations, customer sites, mobile fleet locations, and Siemens Energy facilities.
