Job description

Overview

The Department of Urology at the Frederick P. Whiddon College of Medicine at the University of South Alabama has openings for a full-time/consultant Pediatric Urology faculty to serve as Division Chief.  The successful candidate will have completed an accredited fellowship in Pediatric Urology with a desire to advance and build a Pediatric Urology program.  They will have a demonstrated track record of leadership in their field.  Duties involve attending to patients, teaching residents and medical students and assist the Department Chair in leading the division of Pediatric Urology.  In addition, the incumbent will be expected to engage in service activities and have the opportunity to engage in clinical and basic science research if desired. 

Academic rank is open to Associate and Professor level candidates and will be commensurate with training, experience, and academic productivity. We offer competitive compensation and benefits.
