Job description

Location: Remote (Out of Stockbridge, MI)

Job Type: Full-Time

About This Job

I’m opening a new Farmers Insurance agency here soon, and I’m looking for a couple good people to build it with.

Simple way to put it — we’re not here to pressure people into buying stuff. We teach them what they actually need, and the sales come from that.

If you can talk to people like a normal human and explain things in a way that makes sense, you’ll do well here.

Remote — But Let’s Be Clear

This is fully remote, but this is still a full-time job.

Not something you do on the side.

You need to:

Show up every day ready to work

Stay focused without someone watching you

Be available and actually talk to customers

If you need someone standing over your shoulder, this probably isn’t the right fit.

What You’ll Be Doing

Talking to people about their insurance (auto, home, life, etc.)

Helping them understand what they actually have and what they need

Calling leads and following up

Writing new business

Building relationships, not just trying to make a quick sale

Why This Job is Different

You’re working fully remote

We use the Farmers Service Advantage program, so you’re not stuck doing a bunch of service work

That means you’re focused on what actually matters:

→ talking to people→ helping them→ closing deals

What I’m Looking For

You’re comfortable talking to people

You can explain things in a simple way

You’re self-motivated (big one working remote)

You’re coachable — you don’t know everything, and that’s fine

You actually want to get better and make money

Licensing

You don’t need a license to start

I’ll help you get there

You will need your PC and Life licenses to stay long term

Pay

Base pay + commission

Most people will fall between $40k–$65k+

No cap — if you can produce, you can make more

Schedule

40 hours a week minimum

Consistent schedule

If you want to work more and make more, you can

Team

I’m building a team that actually works together.

We win together

We miss together

There will be team bonuses and individual bonuses

No one’s on an island here

Bottom Line

If you want a job where you can:

Work from home

Make solid money

Not be micromanaged

And actually build something from the ground up

This is worth a conversation.
