Job Description

As a Security Officer Insurance Executive Site in Wilton, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. Bring your law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience to a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Wed 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Thur 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Fri 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or facility concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific requirements, maintaining accurate logs and communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare clear, detailed incident reports and complete required daily activity documentation in alignment with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess at least two years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
