Our dynamic team seeks an enthusiastic individual to provide exceptional customer service to our insurance company clients and policyholders. You’ll be the first point of contact dealing with our professional commercial clientele. This will include but not be limited to answering coverage questions, day to day servicing, contacting carriers, handling the renewal process. Insurance Customer Service Representative responsibilities

  • Answer incoming call center questions about insurance policies and insurance coverage issues, as well as consumer complaints and general inquiries
  • Demonstrate accuracy in processing client policy modifications based on the data given
  • Verify new customers coverage and present policyholders with proof of insurance paperwork
  • Keep track of all customer inquiries and follow up to verify that all questions are answered regarding customer policies
  • Handle complaints, present appropriate solutions, and alternatives within the timeframes set, and follow up to ensure that the issue has been resolved
  • Handle the entire renewal process and preparing professional proposals of insurance

Insurance Customer Service Representative qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent needed
  • Previous customer service experience required for this position
  • Knowledge of commercial lines insurance products and policies
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office and customer relationship management software
