The SUNY Geneseo Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation, a part of the Division of Student and Campus Life, seeks qualified candidates for the position of Head Coach for Women's Soccer. This full-time, 10-month, fully-benefited position will coordinate and oversee all aspects of the women's soccer program and will be assigned a secondary duty or duties based on the skill set of the selected candidate and the needs of the department (eg: game management). In this role, you will be responsible for administering all aspects of the program with specific duties including but not limited to: effective recruitment and retention of qualified student-athletes; individual skill development of student-athletes; scheduling; budget preparation and management; participation in department fundraising, community service, and alumni engagement efforts; monitoring academic performance; adherence to all NCAA, Empire 8, and SUNY Geneseo rules and regulations
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
    • Bachelor's degree
    • 1-2 years coaching experience at the collegiate level
    • Demonstrated ability to recruit and retain student-athletes who are committed to academic and athletic excellence
    • Demonstrated commitment to the campus values of diversity, equity and inclusion
