Our center emphasizes a holistic approach to well-being, integrating therapeutic practices with community support systems. We pride ourselves on our knowledgeable staff, who are passionate about guiding clients towards recovery and personal growth through compassionate therapeutic techniques.

Work Environment

This position allows for a flexible and remote work setting, making it ideal for qualified professionals seeking a balance between their personal and professional lives. You will work within a virtual environment, supported by a collaborative team committed to excellence in mental health care. Despite the remote nature of this position, you will maintain strong relationships with both clients and colleagues as part of our close-knit organizational culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify the specific mental health needs of clients, ensuring that tailored treatment plans are developed for optimal support.
  • Facilitate individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices and therapeutic interventions to address various challenging situations.
  • Work in conjunction with multidisciplinary health care professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and psychiatrists, to provide coordinated and comprehensive care to clients.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress through treatment notes and plans, adhering closely to our organization’s policies and HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality.
  • Engage in ongoing clinical supervision and participate in training sessions designed to foster professional development and stay current with therapeutic methodologies.
  • Research and implement the latest best practices and emerging trends in the marriage and family therapy field to enhance the quality of therapeutic services offered.
  • Strictly adhere to ethical guidelines while ensuring that client confidentiality is upheld according to legal and organizational standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with a diverse array of clients, including individuals and families navigating complex emotional issues such as relationship conflicts, mental health disorders, and challenging life transitions. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting clients from various backgrounds, each with unique stories and needs. The goal is to empower them on their path to healing and personal development.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • A valid and active LMFT license in the state of New York.
  • At least 1 year of clinical experience, preferably with a focus on substance abuse therapy to support complex family dynamics.
  • In-depth knowledge of solution-focused interventions and methodologies aimed at fostering client progress.
  • Strong communication skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in providing teletherapy and familiarity with virtual counseling tools.
  • Specialized training in trauma-informed care or other therapeutic modalities that enhance client engagement and outcomes.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Attractive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 per year, reflecting experience and expertise.
  • Comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, in addition to retirement plans.
  • Access to an employee assistance program offering mental health resources for personal support.
  • A full caseload ensuring a rewarding and fulfilling work schedule that supports both personal satisfaction and professional growth.
