Job description

Remote Licensed Insurance Agent

Uncapped Commission — Book Already Built!

Step into a 20-year book of business on day one — warm leads, an established client base, and the tools to make Medicare season your best quarter yet!

  • Compensation – $75,000–$90,000 OTE — hourly base + uncapped commission
  • Function – Existing Book of Business Management / New Book Growth
  • Location – Fully remote (must hold an active NC license, resident or non-resident)
  • License required – Active North Carolina life & health insurance license (resident or non-resident); AHIP required. No carrier appointment required at time of application.
The Opportunity

This is a relationship role as much as a sales role — and one of the best-supported producer seats in the Raleigh market. You'll start as the day-to-day point of contact for an active, established ACA/Medicare book of business, with warm inbound leads already flowing in. You're not building from zero — you're stepping into something already built, and then growing it further as you develop your own client relationships and referral network.

Earning potential is uncapped, and your commission grows directly with the book you manage. Strong producers in this seat are targeting $75K–$90K in year-one total earnings, with real room to grow beyond that as you expand your book.

What You'll Do
  • Work with Michael Osborne to manage and grow an existing Medicare and ACA book of business, with a focus on expanding revenue
  • Handle inbound lead follow-up and convert warm, routed leads into enrolled clients
  • Build your own pipeline over time through referrals, networking, and community relationships as your book grows
  • Conduct Medicare/ACA consultations by phone and/or in person; explain plan options clearly and without pressure
  • Support clients through Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) and Open Enrollment Period (OEP), plan changes, and benefit questions
  • Complete Scope of Appointment (SOA) before every Medicare enrollment appointment, without exception
  • Document every client interaction in company tracking systems same-day
  • Coordinate with the agency owner on lead distribution, renewal cycles, and client escalations
  • Maintain required credentials annually, including AHIP and carrier certifications
What We're Looking For
  • Active NC life & health insurance license (resident or non-resident) — required
  • Experience in Medicare and ACA sales or client services — you know the products and you know how to talk to seniors
  • Competitive and goal-oriented — you track your numbers and push to hit them
  • Comfortable growing a book over time — you're motivated to build relationships and earn referrals, not just work a queue
  • Strong phone presence; most client interactions are phone-based
  • Comfortable working independently with a clear process to follow
Compensation & Growth
  • $75,000–$90,000 OTE — hourly base plus uncapped commission on business you write and service
  • Earning potential scales directly with the volume and quality of the book you manage — there's no ceiling
  • AEP and OEP are your busiest seasons — and your biggest opportunities to grow your book fast
Career Path
  • LOA: Build your track record, learn the book, and demonstrate consistent service and compliance standards
  • Writing Agent: Transition to your own NPN and full CMS commission rates as you demonstrate production capability
  • Technology-enabled expert: use tools reserved for the best and brightest agents in the industry — GydeOS unlocks agent productivity in ways the industry hasn't seen before
Why Join Us

You're walking into an existing client base that needs someone who genuinely cares — with uncapped earning potential and a clear path to grow your own book. We back you with GydeOS, AI-enabled tools that traditional ACA and Medicare shops don't have, so you can spend more of your time on clients and less on paperwork. As we grow, so does your opportunity.
