Job description

The Task Order Manager is responsible for the planning, management, oversight, and execution of individual task orders issued under the EPA-RTP O&M Contract. This position ensures that all construction, maintenance, and service task orders are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with applicable codes, contract requirements, and government direction. ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day execution of individual task orders issued by the Contracting OfficerDevelop, modify, and track task order schedules using Microsoft Project or equivalent government-approved softwareCoordinate work activities with government representatives (TOCOR, COR, CO), subcontractors, and facility occupantsEnsure task order plans and estimates are prepared within the specified timeframes after receipt of requests from the COOversee task order closeout and submission of all required deliverables and documentationCommunicate proactively with customers and subcontractors regarding schedule, scope, and statusEnsure compliance with North Carolina General Contractor licensing requirements for all task order construction activitiesCoordinate with the Project Manager on task order resourcing, staffing, and budgetIdentify and report issues that may impact task order cost, schedule, or qualityEnsure all task order work is subject to appropriate quality control inspection prior to Government acceptancePosition RequirementsMinimum 5 years of experience with responsible planning, oversight, management, and/or execution of commercial construction, maintenance, and operations projects and/or task ordersExperience must be in a large commercial/industrial facility or at multiple facilities with complex mechanical, electrical, and structural requirementsActive State of North Carolina General Contractor's License (required)Demonstrated experience coordinating work and communicating with customers and subcontractorsProven experience developing, modifying, and tracking project schedulesProficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Project
