Job description

Sunset Health Pharmacy Compliance Specialist

Assists in developing tracking mechanisms for Sunset Health Pharmacy compliance programs

Assists pharmacy leadership with specialized computer hardware and software maintenance updates

Maintains Sunset Health Pharmacy 340B compliance programs

Tracks and verifies drug wholesaler invoices for accuracy of product and 340b pricing

Places orders for product obtained through the 340B contract pharmacy program

Assists pharmacy leadership with compliance programs to ensure adherence to HRSA, 340B, and State and Federal Pharmacy rules and regulations

Schedules and runs meetings with 340B TPA managers and addresses any contract pharmacy

Verifies all captured prescriptions by TPA's are eligible through 340B HRSA guidelines and Sunset Health's policies and procedures

Verifies any prescription that is from an outside provider is eligible for 340B and captured by the TPA's

Verifies with the billing department that payment from 340b contract pharmacy program has been received in a timely manner, and verifies billing is correct

Addresses any incorrect billing issues

Responsible for the training and supervision of 340B contract pharmacy auditor/referral tracker

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education: High School or better.

Experience: Familiarity with pharmacy software programs and wholesaler accounts preferred. One to three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Licenses & Certifications: AZ BOARD PHARM LICE, CPR, AZ PHARMACY TECH CERT
