Waterloo Office: Licensed Therapist/Counselor/Social Worker

Green Counseling Services, PLLC is recruiting a licensed therapists, counselors, and social workers to join our expanding team in Waterloo, IA. Applicants with a provisional, temporary, or conditional licenses may be considered depending upon fit. We are a growing practice consisting of an interdisciplinary team of providers who are passionate about our work. We are dedicated to providing high quality and highly accessible mental health services including individual, family, couples, group, dietician, medication management, and community outreach services with a focus on integrative healthcare. Our primary mission is to provide excellent clinical care to our amazing clients; we ensure optimal clinical care via our Excellence Initiative. We aim to provide empirically supported care in an accepting and supportive therapeutic atmosphere. We similarly aim to create a warm and supportive work environment for our providers with a high degree of autonomy and support. We emphasize work-life balance and scheduling flexibility in order to optimize self-care and sustained passion for our work. We provide 25 hour of clinical care per week and establish our own weekly schedules. We offer ongoing continuing education opportunities and biweekly training opportunities to invest in our ongoing professional growth and development. We offer weekly case consultation opportunities and immediate access to our leadership and training team members to ensure high levels of support. We are seeking providers with an interest in providing therapy services to clients with a variety of presenting concerns according to provider preference and training. We are especially interested in providers with strong foundational skills and generalist training in the microskills hierarchy and with core competencies in one or more of the following approaches: Person Centered Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dissonance-Based Therapy, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy - Insomnia, Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Feminist Therapy, and/or Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Providers can choose their preferred mix of therapeutic modalities including psychological assessment, individual therapy, couples therapy, group therapy, or family therapy based upon our preferences and competency.

In addition to strong generalist training, we are interested in providers who specialize in one of the following therapeutic niches: Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sleep Disorders, Eating Disorders, ADHD, or Trauma. Competencies in one of more of these areas can be trained if not present at hire.

We offer a highly competitive compensation package with:
  • Income potential of up to $120,000 per year (compensation may be higher depending upon performance and merit-based bonuses).
