Job description

This is a flexible, part-time, non-exempt position that supports Library Services and is located at the main campus in Quincy, Illinois. Position begins immediately. JOB DESCRIPTIONResponsible for providing general coverage during evening hours for the library and other services in the Academic Support Center. Library duties involve circulation, the use of the library's electronic resources, and basic computer support. This includes using the automated circulation system to register new patrons, checking materials in and out, editing patron records, and providing support for the interlibrary loan service. Computer skills needed include using Microsoft Office applications, printers, accessing the learning management system, saving documents, attaching files to emails and more. QUALIFICATIONSA High School Diploma or equivalent is recommended, with an associate degree or LTA (Library Technical Assistant) preferred.
