HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO
The University Library is seeking to hire a Library Associate II on a full - time basis at our Clarkston campus.The scope of the responsibilities will include these essential duties but is not limited to the following:
  • Deliver prompt, high-quality support by addressing and resolving user inquiries and issues.
  • Monitor and respond to departmental communications, escalating issues when appropriate.
  • Complete assigned and self-selected training and workshops on the use of library systems, including updates and changes in workflows, functions, and procedures.
  • Perform data entry, reporting, and record management.
  • Communicate updates, issues, and concerns promptly in accordance with procedures.
  • Assists with collecting, organizing, and maintaining departmental data to support operations and decision-making.
  • Assist as needed in departmental projects and specialized initiatives.
  • Other duties assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED and three (3) years of related experience, or a combination of education and related experience.

• Knowledge of library circulation processes in an automated environment
