The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This is more than an internship; it’s the foundation for a career built on connection, creativity, and impact.

The Finance and Spend Management Product Marketing team is looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with a communications, marketing, or business background to join us as a Communications Intern. In this role, you will support the Office of the CMO and contribute to executive and organizational communications across the Finance and Spend Management portfolio. You will gain hands-on experience working at the intersection of executive storytelling, internal communications, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment where priorities evolve quickly.

Expectations & Tasks

  • Support the oCMO team in drafting, editing, and refining executive communications (emails, updates, briefing notes, talking points)
  • Support the development and maintenance of decks for all team meetings, and other meetings as required
  • Support storytelling efforts, including slide development and narrative structuring
  • Track and follow up on communication-related action items across key workstreams as needed
  • Help manage and organize communication artifacts, templates, and content libraries

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an eye for clarity and detail
  • Strong visual design sensibility with an eye for clean, professional slide design
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise messaging
  • Highly organized with strong time-management skills
  • Comfortable working across teams and engaging with senior stakeholders
  • Proactive, curious, and willing to learn in a dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Interest in marketing, communications, or business strategy

Basic Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree or enrolled in Bachelor’s program in 3rd or 4th year with availability to work full-time for 12 months
  • Previous experience in a related role is preferred

The targeted combined range for this position is $15-62 (USD) .
