Job description

Are you passionate about precision and driving project success through accurate cost estimation? We're seeking a skilled Commercial Architectural Casework Estimator to be a key player in our team, shaping the foundation of our projects. If you have a knack for numbers, enjoy analyzing data, and want to contribute to our growth, apply now and be instrumental in our construction endeavors!
  • Receive and review bid invitations through BuildingConnected, Construct Connect, PlanGrid, Procore, email, and other bud solicitation platforms.
  • Organize and upload project drawings and specifications to identify project scope and perform scope reviews before and/or after bid submission as needed.
  • Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and prepare accurate cost estimates for architectural casework, millwork, countertops, and specialty woodwork projects.
  • Verify product selections, material quantities, hardware requirements, and pricing within the Innergy product library to ensure estimating accuracy.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to obtain current pricing for materials, hardware, and specialty products.
  • Submit Request for Information (RFIs) and coordinate scope clarifications with general contractors, architects, and design teams as needed.
  • Conduct site visits and attend pre-bid meetings when required to evaluate project conditions, identify potential challenges, and gather information that may impact project costs.
  • Identify project risks, exclusions, constructability concerns, and value engineering opportunities during the estimating process.
  • Prepare and submit complete, accurate, and competitive bid proposals, including project score, pricing, inclusions, and exclusions.
  • Follow up with general contractors after bid submission to obtain feedback and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Maintain accurate estimating records, bid documentation, correspondence, and project files.
  • Covert awarded projects within Innergy and notify designate team members to initiate project startup.
  • Participate in project handoff meetings with drafting and project management teams to ensure a smooth transition from estimating to production.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience estimating commercial architectural millwork, casework, countertops, or related projects.
  • Strong understanding of architectural wood products, plastic laminate, solid surface, quartz, hardware, and specialty materials.
  • Proficiency in using construction estimating software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across various teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Problem-solving skills to identify cost-effective solutions.
