Advanced Dentistry in Schaumburg, IL is looking for a friendly, collaborative Dental Hygienist to join our team! 

Schedule

  • Monday 12:00pm-7:00pm (can be 8:30am-7pm for more hours)
  • Wednesday 12:00pm-7:00pm (flexible)
  • Thursday 9:30am-6:00pm 
  • Friday 7:30am-2:00pm
  • Saturday (2x/month) 7:30am-1:00pm

Patient Schedule

  • 60 minute prophys and recalls
  • 60-90 minute SRPs
  • 70 minute New Patient appointments

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Current dental hygienist license in ILlinois and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
  • Local Anesthesia Certification
  • CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

  • Open to new graduates and experienced hygienists!
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
  • Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
  • Prolonged periods sitting and standing
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
  • Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
  • As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
