Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree required Coaching experience on the collegiate or high school level required Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations Excellent organizational and communication skills Comprehensive computer skills including Microsoft products and Network internet Job Duties and Other Information Coaching Perform duties in all pre-season, in-season and off-season practice sessions as assigned by head coach Perform duties during intercollegiate competitions as assigned by the head coach Perform administrative duties as assigned by the head coach, including, but not limited to conducting study halls, checking class attendance of student-athletes, team travel plans assisting with equipment, room checks, etc

Attend NCAA compliance educational sessions as required by the University Compliance Coordinator, Stay abreast and comply with all NCAA rules and regulations as per the NCAA Compliance Manual. Third Base Coach during competition Works with catchers and hitting during practices and competition Recruiting Perform recruiting duties as assigned by head coach Assist NSU admissions office in identifying and recruiting students who are outstanding academically or in extracurricular activities other than athletics. Grounds Grounds and/or facility maintenance and field preparation as assigned by the head coach.

Fund raising Assist in fundraising as assigned. Attend Alumni functions and fundraisers as schedule permits. Participate in community activities that allow the promotion of sport, the department, and/or the University.

Identify and cultivate potential donors to the athletic department and the University.
