What you will be doing:

As a Help Desk Specialist (Hybrid), you will provide fast and effective support to our clients. The Help Desk Specialist will be required to respond to queries, assess and diagnose computer hardware and software problems, and implement effective solutions. You may also be required to modify hardware systems, install computer peripherals, and perform basic computer maintenance. Your schedule will be Tuesday through Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm and Saturday 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Essential Functions:ย 
  • Monitor, answer, and respond to requests by phone calls, voicemails, emails, and webย submission.
  • Utilize a ticketing system to log, update and communicate issues andprogress.ย 
  • Provide Windows 10 & 11 OSย Support.
  • Hardware Troubleshooting and support.
  • Basic troubleshooting of user account and profile issues.ย 
  • Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy.
  • Assist libraries with the use, configuration, and troubleshooting of core software Envisionware and Sierra.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Associates degree and/or equivalent experience in information technology field.
  • 1 to 2ย years ofย experience supporting desktop devices.
  • Understanding of computer and network operations.
  • Ability to work well in aย fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for both internal and external communications.
  • Excellent organization and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be able to pass Criminal Background Clearances.

  • This is a mostly remote position.
